On Top of Their Game...... Oh What A Night......

The Women's Sports Foundation's 24th Annual Salute to Women in Sports Awards Dinner, honoring 100 of the best female athletes in the world, was held in The Grand Ballroom of The Waldorf Astoria in New York City. Kaleigh was privileged to kick off the event, alongside many celebrity presenters, including Bill Cosby, Billie Jean King, Today Show Anchor - Ann Curry, Jerry Orbach, Star of "Law and Order," Actress Michael Michelle,and NY Giants Linebacker, Dhani Jones. The room was full of role models of excellence. Sportswoman of the Year award for player of a team sport went to Lisa Leslie of WNBA fame and Individual Sportswoman of the Year went to World Champion swimmer, Natalie Coughlin, a favorite to win Gold in the Summer Olympics. The legendary Jackie Joyner-Kersee was one of four inducted into the International Women's Sports Hall of Fame.
